The main grape used for this white wine is Sauvignon (85-100%), with the permitted addition of local white grapes 0-15%), with the exception of Traminer aromatico, Moscato Giallo and Moscato Rosa.

Trentino Superiore Sauvignon DOC is a more or less intense straw yellow to golden white wine, with a pleasant and characteristic bouquet. The taste is dry, pleasant and characteristic of the grape.

The mandatory aging period is 10 months, starting with November 1st of the harvesting year.

The wine is a good accompaniment of pasta and fish dishes, including trout and snails.

A late harvest type, Trentino Superiore Sauvignon Vendemmia Tardiva DOC, is also available.
